Iran is known as the origin of saffron in the world. It is still the biggest provider of saffron in the world and even though a few other countries are producing, Iran has the best type among all in terms of aroma and taste. More than 250 tons of saffron per year is exported from Iran. Super Negin, Negin, Sargol and Pushal are different types of saffron which are exported every year
